38North Construction Group is excited to announce the completion of the Mezzanine and Mitigation Storage project, our 24th project for Jabil, Inc. (formerly Synthes) and our 3rd building addition in the heart of their operations.
From moving a single door to constructing new additions, clients like Jabil hire 38North Construction Group because of our attention to detail and an understanding of the live environment. Jabil operates 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. This puts a focused attention on their operations and how we integrate and complete them without unexpected interruption. At more than $100K/hour cost to operate the plant, pre-planning and accurate execution is not optional. The project consisted of a 3600sf Pre-Engineered Metal Building from Metallic Building Corp. and an 1800sf Mezzanine. The project originally began in early 2020 but due to COVID was shut down. After being shelved for the year, Jabil brought the project back on-line and negotiated with us in order to meet an aggressive construction schedule. We appreciate working with clients who have high expectations and a required level of quality commensurate to the quality products they manufacture.
With manufacturing plants around the world, Jabil’s focus at the Monument facility is the manufacturing of orthopedic and neurological products for joint reconstruction, trauma, spine and sports medicine. The Monument facility is a full life cycle location that takes raw materials and converts them to orthopedic hardware.
