It was a busy summer for 38North at Compassion International. We are happy to say we have completed the highly successful design build parapet extension project. Compassion can now access their roof tops at all 4 buildings safely with these new extensions.
We started work on this project in May 2021 when the idea was brought to us to develop a feasible design. As we dug into the project, a few challenges became apparent and had to be solved. The first was how to add something onto a building and make it look intentional and of original construction and second, how to safely access the area around a live, functioning campus with lifts, cranes and swingstages. All of these issues were successfully addressed and we completed the project in September 2022.
